It has been...

It has been so long since I have posted. Lets see, what can I say. I am alive & well. Just been busy working & that's about it. Got a new Dell PC, that is just about it. I am so glad that spring is here. I can't wait. I am going to take the cover off my pool tomorrow, then get it all ready for the summer. I love this time of the year. All the Bradford Pear trees are blooing & it is so pretty driving down my street,. Just wanted to post again & try to get started. I will try to update more freqently. I wonder if I still have any friends around here.

Women

Seems like I never get on line anymore, all I have been doing is working. Work makes me a very tired lady. Why is it that women can't get along? Every job I have ever had the women don't get along. They are either competing for the male attention or stabbing each other in the back. I can't understand why we have to talk about eachother so bad. Jealous? What is it. I was sitting at the desk yesterday & all I heard was all these women talking bad about another woman who wasn't even there to defend herself. Then again, if she was there they wouldn't be talking about her. Why do women do that? It just makes me so angry, cause I know the minute I walk away they are probably talking about me too. Do men act this way too? How about it guys? Do ya'll talk about other men the same way? I know some men gossip & enjoy it. Tell me how you feel about this topic?

Boy is it...

Boy is it warm here. Could have worn shorts today. I had my windows open & put all my plants outside to air & get some sun. Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. I dread going back to work tomorrow. I like my job somedays but most days I hate it. But it's a pay check & I have a job so I can't complain. There are so few jobs in the paper right now. So I guess I better quit bellyaching!

Went shopping today to see if I could find any bargins. Guess what...I did! Got jeans from the GAP for $19.00. Cool, huh? Then I got a bunch of junk,,DVD's are going pretty cheap right now. I saw the Green Mile with Tom Hanks for 9.99 but it was on VHS not DVD. I looked at some laptops too. Got to save a little more money for that. I saw more people begging for money too. Two ladies who appeared to be in their early 20's were standing outside the supermarket asking for donations for her little boy who was gonna be in some padgent in their church. Yeah right. I got my own bills to worry about you go ask your church members to support your kid being in a padgent. The nerve she had! Makes me angry that we have to be subjected to people begging for money for something stupid like that when people need to be fed or clothed or a place to stay warm.....I guess I've said a mouthful,,,I need to stop before I get myself worked up more!!!

Lottery tickets anyone? After that guy won the lottery everyone around here is buying those tickets,.Do you realize what your chances are at something like that? What would you do with it? I would ..........lets see..........buy a new house, buy my mom a house...buy my bestfriend a house that she has been wanting for 25 years, she has lived in the same trailor. I would buy a few new cars & some simple little things like decorate the house & then invest the rest. WORK?? I would still work & then the first time someone would piss me off I would tell them to take this job & shove it! Can youimagine what that would feel like after working all your life. Not to have to worry about where the next meal is coming from? Not to worry about anything but what color sheets your going to sleep on next or what next exotic island you are going to explore.........Oh but I can dream

hello everyone, gosh it seems like I never get the time to update. I have been so busy trying to get all my shopping done & have been very successful. I have a few more things to pick up. Went to the movies today & saw Santa Clause II it was funny. I like tim Allen. So what is Santa gonna bring you? I hope he brings me a man. I sure could use one. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!

Christmas is fast approaching. I can't believe it is almost here. I have been shopping a little today & then I need to go back to the mall tonight. I am so sleepy today. It is very cold & windy outside today. I forgot about a Christmas party that I need to drop by tonight,. I didn't want to go so I guess I will have to drag my ass out to that. I didn't want to get all dressed up for that too. So that means no mall tonight.Are you ready for Christmas? What is dear ol Santa gonna bring ya? Or what does your heart desire?I am kinda feeling goofey today....I think I am just tired. Work is getting to me.. Putting in too many hours...time to take a break & take some time off.

Seems like I haven't posted in forever. I haven't had time to do anything. It sure is cold down here in the south but we were very fortunate not to get the bad stuff like all you folks above us. I am so sorry that you have to endure the cold extremes. I hate the cold weather. I have gotten no shopping done so far. I am going to begin tomorrow. Will try to get into Atlanta in the morning to get started. Anyone else gonna be around that way? I'd love to met you for lunch. I'm sure that everyone & his brother will be there too. I just love this time of the year. Don't you? Everyone around here has all their Christmas decorations up & it is extremely pretty. I have been working so much lately. Then I am so tired when I get home I don't feel like doing anything but going to bed..so if I haven't responded to any replys I am sorry. I will try to catch up. I haven't even been watching my favorite soap. DAYS I got to get caught up on that too. I think I am going to go into the kitchen & bake some cookies. That sounds good huh? Chocolate Chips or Sugar Cookies...maybe some fudge as well....

Trying to put up the old Christmas tree but just can't get into the mood. It takes me hours to make it just right. I had a great Thanksgiving. I have so much to be thankful for & we often take it all for granted. I have good health that allows me to do so many things. Life can be so good & then we can make a mess out of it.

Did some major shopping today, I mean major. The malls are already getting packed with people. I have to get my kids some presents & get on with this Christmas stuff. The weather here has been cool so that is different for us. I think it is actually 42 degrees out right now. That is cold for the south. We normally still have the windows still open this time of the year. I had a sweater set on today. Of course it was too hot for me & I drove my honey crazy saying it was to hot in the car & he was cold. I am trying to think what I can cook that is new for Thanksgiving Dinner. I need some new recipes. Got any? I like congealed salads but can't figure oout what is really good. Send some my way. I am having alot of people over for dinner on Thanksgiving. All of my family & my sibblings family & parents & some extra friends. Should be alot of fun. We always have a big Thaksgiving gathering. I love to get out the video camera & take pictures of all the people then pull them out later. What are you doing for Thanksgiving?

Gosh, have I been busy the past two weeks. I haven't had time to read my friends journal or anything. I think this weekend I am going to put up my Christmas tree. You know, sometimes you just don't have alot to say.Today has been a rather boring day. Got up this morning. That was a start. Then did absolutely nothing for the remainder of the day. Been eating candy all day...That's bad. My dogs has been right under me all day not wanting to leave my side. Sometimes that is annoying. I wish I had something to do that I want to do. You know, I think I am just rambling on cause I am sleepy so Goodnight all!

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas..........

Everywhere you go.....They put the Christmas tree up today where I work & then there will be Santa coming on Tuesday. Gee....can't we al least wait until after Thanksgiving? Now don't get me wrong I like Christmas just as much as the next person, but....it's a might bit early for the tree lighting. We have to get past the turkey yet! In the malls they already have all the Christmas decorations up. I can't believe how they rush the holidays. It's hot outside yet & we have fake snow all over the stores. Can you belive all this? Christmas began in October.

What a day...

What a day at work. I had to sit in class all day. I hate doing that. You hear the same boring things over & over. Things that I have been hearing for the past 10 years over & over again.....then I had to sit next to this guy who pretended to be a licensed professional staff person, then as it turned out he wasn't what he said he was. That just ticks me off. He walked in like he was a medical student or something, then led us to believe he was a nurse, then as it turned out he was a male orderly. I tell you what....then he went on & on about how he worked under a surgeon in the OR & told a bunch of other stories.....I hope someone teaches him to tell the truth.Hopefull he will never work where I work! Why do people pose themeselves as something they are not? Is it wishful thinking or are they just trying to make themselves look real important?

Mel Gibson

Just got through watching "We were soldier's" this is my second time. I just love that movie, well to be honest, I just love Mel Gibson. I think the older he gets the more sexier he gets. I just drool all over myself when I see him. I like all of his movies. I liked the Lethal Weapon series when they were out but I don't care to see them over & over. I think one of my favorites is "Forever Young". I am just a sucker for a good romance movie.This has been a long day for me. I have several new LJ Friends. When I learn how to do a tag cut I'll say a proper hello to all. In the meantime you know who you are so I look forward to reading your journals & getting to know you all better. Today I had alot going on. Went shopping, bought some groceries, cooked, cleaned....you know all those Saturday things that you have to do. My girlfriend & I wanted to go to a movie but we didn't have time. Tonight we are gonna go clubbing. Met up with some of our friends. You know the typical Saturday things. Maybe if we are luck we will find us some good looking hunks! Any good looking hunks out there want to be my friend?
